Rasheed Wallace Claims Draymond Green and the Warriors were too Small to Compete Against 2000s Pistons

Rasheed Wallace, a former player for the Detroit Pistons in the 2000s, recently offered some candid commentary on how he thinks his team would have fared against today’s Golden State Warriors. His words were directed at Draymond Green and they weren’t exactly sugar-coated: “Y’all were too f****** little.”

Wallace is known for his no-holds-barred opinions and this time was no different. He suggested that despite all their talent and success, the current lineup of Warriors wouldn’t stand a chance against his Pistons squad from two decades ago.

The crux of Wallace’s argument lies in physicality. The Pistons of the early 2000s were renowned for their tough defensive playstyle which earned them the nickname ‘Bad Boys’. They had towering figures like Ben Wallace who stood at 6’9″ with an intimidating presence under the basket.

On contrast, while Green has been pivotal to Warrior’s defense over years with him often guarding players far taller than him successfully; but according to Rasheed it still doesn’t compare to what existed back then.

He believes that sheer size difference would prove insurmountable if these two teams ever faced off on court – even though it remains purely hypothetical situation as both teams belong to completely different eras.

Wallace also mentioned how game strategies have changed drastically since he played. In those days basketball was more about power plays near hoop whereas now there is heavy reliance on three-point shooting thanks largely due part by none other than Steph Curry – another key player from warriors whom Rasheed didn’t fail mention during conversation!

Despite being retired now, Wallace clearly hasn’t lost any passion when comes discussing sport he loves so much! 🔥

His comments certainly sparked debate among fans across globe who are divided opinion whether or not Piston’s ‘Bad Boy’ era could indeed overpower present day warriors roster full star-studded names such Klay Thompson Kevin Durant.

While some agree with Wallace, others point out that the Warriors have a unique style of play that has proven to be effective in today’s NBA. They argue that their speed and shooting abilities could potentially counteract the size advantage of the 2000s Pistons.

It’s interesting to note how much game has evolved over years – from physical battles near basket more finesse oriented approach which relies heavily sharp shooting skills outside perimeter; something warriors mastered perfection!

In end though, we will never truly know outcome such match up unless somehow invent time machine bring these two teams together same court – now wouldn’t it be sight behold?

For now though, fans can only speculate on what might happen if this dream matchup were ever to occur. Regardless of who would come out on top, one thing is certain: It would definitely make for an entertaining showdown!

This debate reiterates timeless beauty basketball where despite constant evolution fundamentals remain unchanged thereby enabling us appreciate greatness across different eras. So whether you’re fan old school new age baller there’s always something cherish about wonderful sport known as Basketball!
