New Cavaliers Coach Kenny Atkinson Prefers Not to Trade Jarrett Allen

The Cleveland Cavaliers recently appointed a new head coach, Kenny Atkinson. He has expressed his desire to retain Jarrett Allen in the team and is against trading him off.

Kenny Atkinson’s appointment as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers was met with much anticipation and excitement. Known for his player development skills, many were intrigued about how he would shape up this young Cavs roster.

One of his first orders of business? Making it clear that he doesn’t want center Jarrett Allen traded from the squad 🏀. This decision comes at an interesting time when trade rumors are swirling around Allen, one of NBA’s promising rising stars.

Allen arrived in Cleveland midway through last season via Brooklyn Nets as part of James Harden’s four-team blockbuster trade deal. Despite being just 23 years old, he quickly established himself as a key figure within the team due to his impressive performances on both ends on court.

With averages of 13 points and almost ten rebounds per game after joining Cavaliers, not only did Allen fill a void in their frontcourt but also provided them with some much-needed energy and defensive prowess – something they had been lacking previously.

Atkinson clearly recognizes these qualities within Allen which may explain why he wants him retained despite ongoing speculations about potential trades involving him; it seems like Coach Atkinson sees great potential in this young starlet who could play pivotal role for Cavs moving forward if nurtured properly under right guidance system which Atkinson can provide given his track record working with youngsters during tenure at Brooklyn Nets where players like D’Angelo Russell flourished under him before eventually making All-Star appearances elsewhere post leaving Brooklyn

So while there might be teams out there willing to make attractive offers for someone like Jarrett due to what he brings onto table especially defensively speaking along with ability to contribute decently towards scoring too thanks largely because solid shooting touch around rim coupled alongside athleticism & agility rarely seen amongst big men today’s era of NBA, it’s clear that Atkinson wants to build a strong team around him.

This is not surprising considering the fact that Allen was one of Cavaliers’ most consistent players last season despite being surrounded by an otherwise struggling roster. He has shown signs of becoming a dominant force in the league and with right guidance under Coach Atkinson who is known for his player development skills; there’s no telling how high Jarrett can rise within ranks of NBA

In conclusion, while trade rumors might continue swirling around Jarrett Allen due to his performances on court which have caught attention from several teams across leagues who are always looking out for young talents they can potentially develop into future stars, it seems like if Kenny Atkinson has any say in matter then he will be staying put at Cleveland where he could very well become face of franchise moving forward given potential he possesses along with faith coach & management seem to have placed upon him.
