Former NBA player Beno Udrih recently expressed his support for Glenn Robinson III, a fellow basketball professional who is currently without an NBA team. Udrih hopes that teams in the league will give Robinson another chance to showcase his talent on the court.
Udrih, who had a successful 13-year career in the NBA himself, understands first-hand what it takes to be part of this elite group. With experience playing for several different teams over the years, he’s well aware of how important opportunities can be in shaping one’s career 🏀.
Glenn Robinson III has shown tremendous potential throughout his journey so far. A former second-round pick by Minnesota Timberwolves back in 2014, he has played for six different franchises across seven seasons – including Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers among others.
Robinson’s skill set includes efficient scoring from both inside and outside range along with solid defensive abilities. This combination makes him an asset worth considering for any team looking to bolster their roster depth or improve their wing play.
Unfortunately, despite these skills and experiences under his belt, Robinson finds himself out of contract at present after being waived off by Sacramento Kings last February following a trade deal involving multiple players & draft picks.
Beno Udrih believes that now could be the perfect time for other teams within the league to consider bringing him aboard once again. He sees enormous untapped potential within Glenn – someone who just needs another opportunity to prove himself on this grand stage yet again.

In fact many would agree with Beno’s assessment here as even though not always consistent; whenever provided adequate game-time & right environment: Glenn indeed showcased flashes of brilliance – be it his 2017 Slam Dunk Contest win or crucial contributions during Warriors’ playoff run in 2019.
Therefore, as per Udrih, NBA teams should certainly consider giving Glenn Robinson III another shot. Not only can he bring valuable experience to the table but also a hunger to prove himself yet again; potentially making him an excellent addition for any team willing to provide this opportunity.
Ultimately though, decision lies with NBA franchises themselves based on their respective strategies and requirements moving forward. Only time will tell whether they heed Beno’s advice or not. However one thing’s certain – if given chance: Glenn Robinson III has all necessary skills & determination required to make most of it and truly shine once more within world’s best basketball league!
